Given these constraints, the CP13’s measurable fidelity remains far below modern digital playback.

These refinements improve transport stability and output drive but do not fundamentally overcome cassette format limits.

Cost-Performance

No cheaper product with equal-or-better user-visible functions and measured performance was found at the time of review; therefore CP = 1.0.

If sound quality per dollar is the priority, modern digital options deliver far superior measured fidelity at far lower prices. Owners of existing tape collections may still value the CP13’s build and convenience for casual listening.
